PhytoBLM™ is a multi-functional active ingredient solution designed for skin brightening, anti-aging, and protective skincare formulations. This active solution combines highly purified flavonoids including Baicalin (from Scutellaria baicalensis), Luteolin, and Myricetin to deliver measurable skin benefits.
Research demonstrates strong anti-tyrosinase activity to limit melanin formation with excellent skin tolerance. It also provides dual UV interaction with absorption peaks at 275 nm and 360 nm, and potent free-radical scavenging to help protect skin from oxidative and environmental stress.
Engineered in a self-preserved, water/glycol carrier for broad formulation compatibility; stabilized with antioxidant support to maintain performance.

Formulation notes: Core flavonoids can be poorly soluble and light/heat‑labile. The supplied water/glycol system solubilizes and stabilizes the actives; for advanced systems, liposomes or thermo‑responsive gels may further enhance delivery and stability where desired.
Usage: Suitable for sun care products, day creams and lotions, age-defying skincare, sensitive skin formulations, and products designed to protect against pollution and environmental stressors.
Mixing method: Add during the cool-down phase below 40°C. Mix until uniform; gentle to moderate shear is sufficient. Compatible with water and glycol phases; incorporate directly into the aqueous phase, or post-add to emulsions, serums, and gels.
Usage rate: 3-10% for optimal efficacy. Use 3-5% for daily protection formulas, 5-7% for brightening products, and 7-10% for intensive anti-aging and sun care applications.
Product characteristics: Amber viscous liquid with a slightly fruity odor.
Solubility: Soluble in water, glycerol, and glycols. Miscible with aqueous phases and suitable for O/W emulsions. Not soluble in pure oils or non-polar solvents.
Storage: Store in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct light. Keep container tightly closed. Maintain temperature between 15-25°C. Protect from excessive heat and moisture. Shelf life is 24 months from manufacturing date when stored properly.
