Used in targeted cancer therapies, particularly in tumors with overexpression of the AXL receptor, such as non-small cell lung cancer, leukemia, and pancreatic cancer. It blocks AXL signaling pathways involved in tumor growth, metastasis, and drug resistance. Investigated in combination with other anticancer agents to enhance efficacy. Also utilized as a reference standard in immunoassay development and antibody drug characterization. Shows potential in modulating the tumor microenvironment by affecting immune cell infiltration. Currently in clinical trials to evaluate safety and therapeutic benefits.
