Used as a direct dye in the textile industry, primarily for dyeing cellulosic fibers such as cotton, linen, and rayon. Provides a bright yellow color with good lightfastness. Also applied in paper printing and occasionally in leather dyeing. Not suitable for food or pharmaceutical use due to toxicity concerns.
