description Product Description
Glucose solution is widely used in medical settings to provide energy and hydration to patients who cannot take oral fluids or nutrients. It is commonly administered intravenously to treat low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), dehydration, and to support patients during fasting periods such as before or after surgery. In emergency care, concentrated glucose solutions help rapidly increase blood glucose levels in diabetic patients experiencing severe hypoglycemia. It is also used as a diluent for compatible medications given by IV infusion. In addition to clinical uses, glucose solutions serve as a source of fermentable sugar in industrial processes such as ethanol production and in microbiological culture media to support the growth of certain organisms.
