Bromelain Benefits:
- Accelerates skin cell turnover
- Rejuvenate the skin (through the process exfoliate skin cells)
Limitations of Bromelain use:
1. The formula must have a pH of 5.0-8.0 for Bromelain to be most stable.
2. Do not expose to heat above 40 degrees.
3. The formula should contain 0.1-0.2% Disodium EDTA to help prevent Metal ions from destroying the Bromelain enzyme.
4. Bromelain when dissolved in water It will smell like pineapple. May cause cosmetics to have a light scent from pineapple.
Usage: Can be used in all skin care formulas. that want to help exfoliate skin cells To restore the skin
Mixing method: Mix in water. (water-phase) or added in the last step Blend until completely dispersed in the formula. Avoid heat above 40 degrees.
Usage rate: 1.0-2.5% (recommended 1.5-2%)
