description Product Description
Used in detergents and cleaning products as a builder to maintain alkalinity and soften water. Acts as a corrosion inhibitor in cooling water systems and boiler treatments. Employed in the production of cement and concrete as a setting accelerator and strength enhancer. Serves as a binder in foundry molds and cores for metal casting. Applied in water treatment to stabilize pH and control scale formation. Used in egg preservation by sealing pores in shells to extend shelf life. Functions as a fire retardant in textiles and wood due to its heat-resistant properties. Utilized in the manufacturing of silica gel, a common desiccant. Also used in adhesives, especially for paper and cardboard, and in some cement formulations for construction.
