description Product Description

Used in dust control on roads and construction sites by absorbing moisture from the air and keeping surfaces damp. Commonly applied as a de-icing agent in winter because it lowers the freezing point of water and works at lower temperatures than salt. Employed in agriculture as a magnesium source in fertilizers to correct magnesium deficiency in soils and promote chlorophyll production in plants. Utilized in food processing, particularly in the preparation of tofu as a coagulant to solidify soy milk. Applied in wastewater treatment to remove phosphates and improve sludge dewatering. Also used in medicine as a dietary supplement to treat magnesium deficiency and in some topical treatments for skin conditions. Industrial applications include use in fireproofing materials, paper manufacturing, and as a catalyst support in chemical synthesis.
