PVP-K15 , PVP-K17 , PVP-K30 , PVP-K60 have a molecule weight of 6,000-80,000daltons and are suitable for use in hair styling formulas in liquid form, such as spray, to provide natural hold and not stiffness. Used for holding curls.
PVP-K90 has a molecule weight of 900,000-1,500,000daltons, giving a tough/hard film, suitable for styling hair in the form of thick gel, cream or wax, giving a strong-hold (hard hair) and lasting durability.
Both styling products and masks should be combined with different levels of PVP to achieve the right formula.
