description Product Description
Poly divinylbenzene porous beads GDX-501 (80-100 mesh) are used as a stationary phase in gas chromatography (GC) columns for the separation of C1-C2 hydrocarbons, CO, CO2, C2H2, C2H4, and C3H6. They are also employed as a solid-phase extraction adsorbent for the pre-concentration and separation of organic compounds from air, water, and soil samples. Commonly applied in environmental monitoring to trap volatile and semi-volatile organic pollutants such as benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX). Their high surface area and porous structure make them effective for GC sampling, especially in thermal desorption systems. Additionally, utilized in industrial hygiene for personal exposure assessment due to their ability to retain a wide range of vapors over extended sampling periods. Stable under high humidity and compatible with both active and passive sampling methods. The beads are thermally stable and can be reused after cleaning.
