Used primarily as a veterinary anthelmintic, effective against liver flukes in ruminants such as cattle and sheep. Commonly administered orally to treat infections caused by Fasciola hepatica. Shows good efficacy in controlling both mature and immature stages of the parasite. Often included in combination products with other antiparasitics to broaden the spectrum of activity. Stable in solution form, allowing for accurate dosing and ease of administration in farm settings.
