Sodium Meclofenamate is primarily used as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent, especially in the management of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. It helps reduce pain, swelling, and joint stiffness by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, which are chemicals in the body that promote inflammation and pain. It is also prescribed for the short-term relief of mild to moderate pain, including menstrual cramps and postoperative pain.
