description Product Description
Pamiparib is a potent and selective inhibitor of poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP), primarily targeting PARP1 and PARP2 enzymes. It is developed for the treatment of cancers with deficiencies in DNA repair pathways, particularly those associated with BRCA1 or BRCA2 mutations. Its primary application is in the therapy of ovarian cancer, especially in patients with platinum-sensitive relapsed disease. Due to its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier effectively, pamiparib shows promise in targeting central nervous system metastases, which is a significant advantage over other PARP inhibitors. It is also being investigated in clinical trials for use in other solid tumors, including small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, and gastric cancer, where homologous recombination deficiencies are present. The compound is administered orally and has demonstrated favorable pharmacokinetics and antitumor activity in early-phase trials.
