The antibody binds to CD30 antigens on the surface of malignant cells, enabling selective delivery of cytotoxic agents directly into the cancer cells. This targeted approach minimizes damage to healthy tissues and improves treatment efficacy. It is often employed in patients who have relapsed or are refractory to standard treatments.
