Used in the treatment of multiple myeloma, this antibody targets SLAMF7 (CS1), a protein highly expressed on myeloma cells. It enhances immune system recognition and destruction of cancer cells through natural killer (NK) cell activation and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). It is often combined with immunomodulatory drugs and corticosteroids to improve clinical outcomes in patients with relapsed or refractory disease.
