Anti-IL-6 / IFNb2 Reference Antibody (olokizumab) is a recombinant monoclonal antibody designed as a reference standard for bioanalytical assays, potency testing, and research applications targeting interleukin-6 (IL-6). It mimics the activity of olokizumab, which is used in the treatment of moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis, particularly in patients who have not responded adequately to other disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). It targets and neutralizes IL-6, a key pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in joint inflammation, cartilage destruction, and systemic symptoms.
