Used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, particularly relapsing forms and primary progressive multiple sclerosis. It targets CD20-positive B cells, reducing immune-mediated damage to nerve cells. Also investigated for use in certain B-cell malignancies and autoimmune disorders. Administered intravenously, it helps slow disease progression and reduce relapse rates.
