Used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, particularly relapsing forms and primary progressive MS. It targets CD20-positive B cells, reducing immune-mediated damage to the central nervous system. Administered intravenously, it helps slow disease progression, reduce relapse rates, and limit new lesion formation on MRI. Also investigated for other autoimmune conditions involving B cells.
