Used as a catalyst in organic synthesis, particularly in oxidation reactions and C–H bond activation. It shows high efficiency in mimicking cytochrome P450 enzyme activity, enabling selective oxidation of hydrocarbons under mild conditions. Also employed in studies of photochemical processes due to its strong absorption in the visible light range. Investigated for applications in photodynamic therapy and as a sensor component for detecting biological molecules. Its robust structure and redox activity make it suitable for use in electrochemical devices and catalytic systems in green chemistry.
