description Product Description

Used primarily in the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a chronic and progressive lung disease. It helps slow the decline in lung function by reducing the rate of lung scarring. Also used in certain types of interstitial lung diseases and systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease. In oncology, it is combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly adenocarcinoma, to inhibit tumor angiogenesis and growth. Works by blocking multiple tyrosine kinases involved in fibrotic and tumor pathways, including VEGFR, FGFR, and PDGFR.
