Bosutinib is taken orally and offers a non-immunogenic therapeutic option with activity against many BCR-ABL mutants, though it is not effective against the T315I mutation. Its use is associated with manageable side effects, primarily gastrointestinal in nature, and it provides an important alternative in the sequential treatment of CML.
