Used as a phosphorescent emitter in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), particularly in blue and green OLED devices. The trifluoromethyl and fluorophenyl groups enhance thermal stability and electron transport properties, making it suitable for use in high-performance, long-lifetime display and lighting applications. Commonly doped into host materials within the emissive layer of OLEDs to achieve bright and stable light emission.
