This product is not a finished fragrance or flavor. It is a single aroma chemical that provides a specific scent character determined by its chemical structure. It is intended to be used only as a raw material for creating fragrance or flavor formulations, or for other research and development purposes.
Dihydrocarveol (FEMA 2379) is a crisp minty-herbal, slightly woody terpene alcohol. It brightens spearmint and garden-mint facets, supports herbal freshness, and adds lift/clean diffusion in woody, fougère, and citrus-aromatic styles.
Works well with carvone/carveyl acetate, lavender, rosemary, eucalyptus, patchouli, and cedar; helps de-terp and tidy rough mint mixtures.
