description Product Description
LDC067 is a potent and selective inhibitor of lysine-specific demethylase 1 (LSD1), an enzyme involved in epigenetic regulation of gene expression. It is primarily used in research settings to study the role of LSD1 in cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and cancer progression. Due to its ability to modulate epigenetic marks, LDC07 has shown promise in preclinical studies for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and other hematological malignancies by reactivating silenced tumor suppressor genes. Its application extends to probing the therapeutic potential of epigenetic modifiers in reversing aberrant gene expression patterns associated with cancer. LDC067 is also utilized in combination studies with other anticancer agents, such as retinoic acid or histone deacetylase inhibitors, to enhance differentiation and apoptosis in cancer cells.
