Frequently used in emergency departments and hospitals to provide rapid analgesia without the need for opioids, helping reduce reliance on narcotic medications. Also available in ophthalmic form to manage pain and inflammation following eye surgery. Its strong analgesic effect makes it suitable for acute pain control, but due to risk of gastrointestinal and renal side effects, it is not recommended for long-term use.
