Used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergies such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and itching of the nose or throat. It is a non-drowsy antihistamine that works by blocking histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic reactions. Also used to treat itching and redness caused by chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives) in adults and children.
