description Product Description
Carbendazim solution is widely used as a fungicide in agriculture to control a broad spectrum of fungal diseases. It is effective against pathogens that cause root rot, damping-off, powdery mildew, and fruit rots in various crops such as bananas, citrus, grapes, and cereals. The solution is applied through foliar spray, soil drench, or seed treatment, depending on the target disease. It works by inhibiting fungal cell division through disruption of microtubule assembly, thereby stopping the growth and spread of fungi. Due to its systemic action, carbendazim is absorbed and distributed within plant tissues, offering both preventive and curative protection. It is also used post-harvest to extend the shelf life of fruits by preventing mold development during storage and transportation.
