Used to improve walking distance in patients with intermittent claudication due to peripheral artery disease. It helps reduce leg pain caused by poor blood flow by inhibiting platelet aggregation and promoting vasodilation. Also exhibits anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative effects that may support vascular health. Not used in patients with heart failure due to risk of increased mortality.
