description Product Description
Used as a pigment in paints, coatings, and construction materials due to its stable red-brown color and resistance to UV degradation. Commonly found in rust-proof primers and anti-corrosion coatings for metal surfaces. Employed in polishing compounds for glass and optical materials, known as jeweler’s rouge. Utilized in the production of magnetic storage media and ferrite cores for electronics. Added to concrete and cement to provide color and enhance durability. Used in water treatment processes to remove impurities and as a catalyst in certain industrial chemical reactions. Also found in some pharmaceutical formulations as an inactive ingredient and in dietary supplements as a source of iron.
