description Product Description
OTX015 is primarily used in cancer research and experimental therapies, particularly for hematological malignancies such as acute myeloid leukemia (AML), lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. It functions as a bromodomain and extraterminal (BET) protein inhibitor, which means it interferes with the activity of proteins that regulate the expression of key oncogenes like MYC. By suppressing MYC and other growth-promoting genes, OTX015 can induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in cancer cells.
It has shown promising results in preclinical studies by reducing tumor growth and improving survival in animal models. Due to its ability to target epigenetic regulators, OTX015 is also being explored in combination with other anticancer agents to enhance therapeutic efficacy and overcome drug resistance. Currently, it remains under investigation in early-phase clinical trials to evaluate its safety, pharmacokinetics, and potential as a targeted cancer treatment.
